For this project I plan to use a recording of one of my friends to vocalize the words.
I want to have pictures that dissolve into each other and certain words emphasized. I'll probably get the pictures off of google pics. I'm not sure if I am going to use music or not but it is a possibility, I just don't want to overpower the ideas with too much going on. I've also thought about a few sound effects that i may add. It's something that I think I will have to start and see where it takes me with my ideas.
I haven't written the text yet but I have a few ideas where I want to go with it and basically I want my friend reading it. I'll use audacity for the sounds, hopefully my computer will be able to record the sound well enough.

Having a friend narrate your story is an interesting idea. It will give your story some extra perspective that wouldn't be there if you chose to narrate it yourself. I'm interested to see what you choose to write.
Hi Terri. Sounds like a good start. I can only comment on your post, but I look forward to seeing the project and let me know if you want me to look at a draft. I like the idea of recording someone else and getting them to vocalize/play with sound. You would be the director. Accompany this with animate images. Now, you could easily use Movie Maker transitions to do dissolves of the sort you're talking about. Then you could add the sound in - edit it in Audacity first - save the movie and upload. The whole sounds interesting and poetic.
